Burnt Butter Biscuits
125g caster sugar
150g SR flour
1/2 cup pecans or nuts of your choice
Melt butter is saucepan and cook until golden brown. Cool slightly and stir in sugar, flour, vanilla and egg. Put small amount (about 1 teaspoon) on tray leaving room for them to spread. Place a pecan on top. Cook in 180C oven for 10 mins or until pale brown in colour.
