Warm Butterscotch Sauce
Makes About 1 1/2 Cups
125m1 (1/2 cup) condensed milk
125m1(1/2 cup) thin cream
80g (1/2 cup, lightly packed) brown sugar
60g unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
Vanilla ice-cream, to serve
1. Place all the ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring, until the butter has melted and the sugar has dissolved. Bring to the boil then reduce the heat to low. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes or until slightly thickened. Remove from the heat and cool slightly.
2. Serve warm, drizzled over the ice-cream.
