Age: 9 months +
6 slices wholemeal toast bread
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
1. Preheat oven to 150Â°C and lightly oil a flat baking tray. Remove crusts from bread, then spread six slices with a thin layer of Vegemite. Cut each slice into three fingers and place on the tray.
2. Bake in the oven for 50 minutes then remove and sprinkle cheese onto rusks. Return to the oven for a further 10 minutes until rusks are crispy and the cheese has melted.
3. Cool on a wire rack and store in an airtight container for up to three days.
