Broccoli and Cauliflower Alfredo

1/2 head broccoli, cut into florets
1/2 head cauliflower, cut into florets
1 egg
4 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons cream
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to season
1/2 cup grated tasty cheese
3/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Steam vegetables until just cooked. Combine egg, cream cheese, cream and parmesan cheese. Stir cheese mixture through vegetables until they are well coated in sauce. Place vegetables in a large casserole dish, season and sprinkle with tasty cheese and nutmeg. Place under a grill for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and beginning to brown.

Serves: 6 side-dish servings
