50g butter or margarine
100g almond meal
pinch of cinnamon
4 or 5 apples, cored and sliced
1. To make crumble: mix the sugar, butter, flour, almonds and cinnamon together with the fingertips until the mixture is like fine breadcrumbs (or use food processor).
2. Fill some individual small dishes or one large shallow oven dish with the sliced apples and dust them with castor sugar.
3. Cover them with crumble mixture and cook in a preheated 220C oven for 20-30 minutes.
