Sweet French Toast

Sweet French Toast

Doorstopper fruit bread (or normal fruit bread)
4 eggs
2 tsp castor sugar
1/2 cup milk
tsp cinnamon (optional)

Whisk together egg, sugar, milk and cinnamon. Dip slices of bread one at a time into the egg mixture ensuring the bread is soaked all the way through. Fry in a non stick fry pan with a little butter until lightly golden. Serve with caramelised bananas, and a dollop of whipped cream.
