Simple Chocolate Slice
Makes: 36 squares
200g unsalted butter
1/3 cup golden syrup
1/4 cup cream
1/2 cup sifted cocoa
200g packet Scotch Finger biscuits
Grease and line a 20cm square slice tin.
Place butter, golden syrup, cream and cocoa in a medium sized saucepan. Cook, stirring, until butter melts and mixture is smooth.
Break biscuits in half and place in the base of the prepared tin. Pour over the chocolate mixture and refrigerate for 4 hours or until set.
Cut into small squares and serve with coffee.
