500g Mince
1 raw egg – Cracked
1 small onion and 2 cloves garlic – Finely Minced
Salt / Pepper / Cumin to taste
2 pinches Nutmeg (cinnamon can be substituted)
5 sprigs fresh flat leaf parsley – Finely Chopped
bread crumbs (two slices worth)

1. Place all ingredients into a large mixing bowl and mix well with your hands for a few minutes.
2. Take half a handful of mince out of the bowl and roll in between your hands to make a ball.
3. Flatten into a similar size as a hamburger, except try to make the finished product oval instead of circular.
4. Best cooked on the BBQ, but can be cooked under a grill as well. Cook for the same amount of time as a hamburger.
