Jam Drops

6 tablespoon butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup sugar
1 3/4 cups SR flour
1 egg
1/2 cup jam

1. Set oven to 180C.
2. Collect utensils and ingredients.
3. Grease trays.
4. Lightly beat egg and vanilla. Sift flour.
5. Cream together butter and sugar.
6. Gradually add egg/vanilla.
7. Stir in flour and mix until forms a stiff paste.
8. Roll teaspoonfuls into balls. Place on tray.
9. Make a small hollow in top of each biscuit.
10. Place 1/2 teaspoon jam into each.
11. Bake 10 – 15 minutes until golden.
12. Allow to cool on tray.
