Beef and Mushroom Ragout

600g chuck steak
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 sticks celery, chopped
1/2 cup dry red wine
2 cups beef stock
2 tablespoon tomato paste
1/2 teaspoon pepper
4 chat potatoes, quartered
100g baby mushrooms
1 zucchini, chopped

Cut steak into 3cm cubes. Heat oil in pan add steak in batches, cook, stirring until well browned all over. Remove from pan. Add onion, garlic, celery to same pan cook stirring until onion is soft. Return steak to pan, stir in wine, stock, paste and pepper simmer covered 1 hour stirring occasionally. Add potatoes, simmer covered further 15 mins. Stir in mushrooms and zucchini, simmer uncovered further 15 mins or until steak and vegetables are tender.
