Peanut Butter Cookies

1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup margarine, soft
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
1 3/4 cup plain flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
sugar

Heat oven to 180 degrees C (or 375 degrees F). In a large bowl beat sugar, brown sugar and margarine until light and fluffy. Add peanut butter, milk, vanilla and egg; blend well. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt; mix well. Shape dough into 1 inch thick balls. Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased baking tray. Flatten in crisscross pattern with fork dipped in sugar. Bake for 10-12 mins or until golden brown.
