Mexican Beef and Bean Pies

Mexican Beef and Bean Pies

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
150g minced beef
125g can kidney beans, drained
1 tablespoon tomato paste
a few drops of Tabasco sauce (to taste)

1. Heat oil in a saucepan, add the onion and mince, cook until brown.
2. Remove from heat, add kidney beans, tomato paste and Tabasco sauce. Stir until combined; cool.
3. Make pies as per instructions.
