Makes about 24
200g dark chocolate, chopped
2 cups cornflakes
100g packet glace cherries, halved
1/2 cup flaked almonds
1/2 cup roasted unsalted peanuts
1/2 cup sultanas
1/4 cup currants
1 tablespoon mixed peel
2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
1. Place chocolate into a large heatproof bowl. Melt gently over simmering water, stirring constantly (or melt in the microwave). Line a 18x28cm slab tin with foil. Oil lightly, then spread slice into tin. Place in the fridge until set.
2. Combine all remaining ingredients. Stir well to ensure they are all coated with condensed milk.
3. Spread evenly over chocolate base. Bake in a moderate oven (180C) for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden.
4. Cool slice in tin. Cut into triangles to serve.
