Dumplings

190g Self raising flour
2 Tbsp Chopped Chives
Pinch of Salt
75g Chilled butter cubed
60ml (1/4 cup) water

1. Sift 190g (1 1/4 cups) self raising flour into a large bowl. Add 2 Tbsp finely chopped fresh Chives and a pinch of Salt. Use your fingertips to rub 75g Chilled butter cubes into the flour mixture until resembles fine breadcrumbs.
2. Make a well in the centre and pour in 60ml (1/4 cup) water.
3. Use a round-bladed knife in a cutting motion to mix until a soft sticky dough forms.
4. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll each portion into a ball.
Preheat oven to 220C. Place dumplings on a baking tray lined with non-stick baking paper. Bake in oven for 10 minutes or until golden. Serve with soups and stews.
