iceberg lettuce: a heavy, firm, round lettuce with tightly packed leaves and crisp texture.
icing sugar: also known as powdered sugar or confectioner’s sugar.
Indian lime pickle: lime pickle is available from Indian grocery stores or large supermarkets. It is usually served as a side dish in Indian cooking.
infusion: an infusion is the flavour that’s extracted from any ingredient such as tea leaves, herbs or fruit by steeping them in a liquid such as water, oil or vinegar.
instant noodles: also known as 2 minute noodles; quick cooking noodles with a flavour sachet.
involtini: thin slices of meat or fish which are stuffed and rolled. They may then be sauteed, grilled, or baked.
Italian herb blend: a commercial mix of dried crushed oregano, sage, rosemary, basil, savoury, thyme and marjoram.
