Boiled Egg Custard

Boiled Egg Custard

Mix 1 tablespoon cornflour with a little cold milk.
Mix in 1 egg.
Add a few drops of vanilla (if you like)
Bring 300mls milk to the boil.
Pour slowly into the egg and cornflour mixture, stirring all the time.
Return mixture to saucepan and cook, stirring until thick.
Simmer for 3 minutes.
