Baked Caramel Bananas
4 ripe bananas, halved lengthways
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 Tbsp apple juice
50g melted butter
Vanilla Ice-cream (check the label!)
1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Arrange bananas cut side down over the base of a 24cm ovenproof dish.
2. Combine sugar, juice and butter in a jug and poor evenly over the bananas
3. Bake in a preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the bananas are tender and the sauce thickens. Remove from oven.
4. Use an egg lifter to divide bananas evenly among serving dishes.
Serve with Ice-cream.
